Modern Office
The assignment was quite simple, transform this old and dark space into a modern office.Fly Cabo Verde, a travel agency specialized in travel to the Cape Verde islands, located in a small office space in Rotterdam-west, was expanding and needed a new headquarter in the city center in order to compete with the other agencies.
The site, an old commercial space on the Schiedamsedijk, built in the period after the war during the resurrection of Rotterdam, was dark and very enclosed. The ambition of the director of Fly Cabo Verde was to create a very light, transparent and modern office. So, we strip the entire space down to the main structure and replaced all the heavy concrete walls with glass. By doing this we created a constant visual connection between the boardroom, the front office and back office. The headquarter of Fly Cabo Verde is now an open space where they are more than happy to receive their clients.
Sculputure Lighting
The lighting object symbolizes the ten island of Cabo Verde, orbiting around the a centre point called Capeverdean.
Escritorio Moderno
A tarefa era bastante simples, transformando esse espaço velho e escuro em um escritório moderno.Fly Cabo Verde, uma agência de viagens especializada em viagens para as ilhas de Cabo Verde, localizada num pequeno espaço de escritórios em Roterdão-Oeste, estava a expandir-se e precisava de uma nova sede no centro da cidade para competir com as outras agências.
O local, um espaço comercial velho no Schiedamsedijk, construído no período após a guerra durante a ressurreição de Rotterdam, era escuro e muito fechado. A ambição do diretor da Fly Cabo Verde era criar um escritório muito leve, transparente e moderno. Então, tiramos todo o espaço para baixo para a estrutura principal e substituímos todas as paredes de concreto pesado com vidro. Ao fazer isso, criamos uma conexão visual constante entre a sala de reuniões, o front office eo back office.
