“Tabula Rasa” is an engaging and collaborative project that aims to foster discussions about climate change and its impact on the living environment. In collaboration with Yung World and Odair Inocencio, we created a platform for meaningful conversations by inviting climate professionals and the youth from the Bospolder/Tussendijken community to participate in a thought-provoking podcast.

The project commenced with a unique setup in which we utilized the studio’s windows as a canvas for participants to express their thoughts on the effects of climate change on their living environment. This initial step allowed individuals to visually communicate their perspectives, concerns, and ideas. The inscribed windows became a tangible representation of the diverse range of voices involved in the project.

After engaging in the window inscription process, the participants transitioned inside the studio to record the podcast. This shift from external expression to focused dialogue created an atmosphere conducive to deepening the discussion on climate-related topics. The podcast format offered an intimate and accessible medium for exchanging ideas and insights between the climate professionals and the local youth.

Throughout the podcast, a wide array of themes related to climate change and its effects on the living environment were explored. The participants shared their experiences, knowledge, and visions for a more sustainable future. The diverse perspectives brought forth by the climate professionals and the youth from Bospolder/Tussendijken contributed to a rich and multidimensional conversation.

By combining the act of writing on the studio windows with the podcast discussion, “Tabula Rasa” aimed to provide a holistic and immersive experience. The window inscriptions visually set the stage for the subsequent dialogue, serving as a reminder of the participants’ initial reflections. The podcast then delved deeper into these ideas, encouraging further exploration and analysis.

“Tabula Rasa” fostered meaningful connections between climate professionals and the local youth, bridging the gap between expertise and personal experiences. The project created an inclusive space that allowed for the sharing of perspectives, knowledge, and solutions, while empowering the voices of the community.

The ultimate goal of “Tabula Rasa” was to raise awareness about climate change and inspire action. By engaging in meaningful conversations, the project aimed to cultivate a sense of urgency and responsibility towards environmental issues. Through the combination of visual expression, podcast dialogue, and collaborative exchange, the project sought to spark ideas, promote dialogue, and contribute to a collective effort in addressing climate challenges.

In summary, “Tabula Rasa” served as a catalyst for meaningful conversations about climate change and its impact on the living environment. By inviting climate professionals and the youth from Bospolder/Tussendijken to participate in a thought-provoking podcast, the project fostered collaboration, exchange, and raised awareness about the urgent need for sustainable action. The window inscriptions and the subsequent podcast discussions provided a unique and immersive experience, encouraging a deeper understanding of climate-related topics and inspiring positive change.
